Here’s my cat Jenny.
This is us in Fulham, London where I used to live.
We just spent £2,500 having her driven from London to Italy where I now live! Right now Jenny is 7 years old.
And what an amazing 7 years it has been.
(Our life in pictures are in picture number two in the gallery below.
The downsides in life are nothing worth even mentioning.
There are ZERO downsides compared to the happiness your cat will give you.
There is one MASSIVE downside though.
I imagine it’s the same downside of having a dog or any other pet as an animal.
It’s something that we speak of in the human world, but we never speak of in the animal world.
Jenny is like a daughter that will never grow up for my wife and I.
And no father should ever have to bury his daughter.

If your cat is an adult and is established within your home as the only cat, then you should think carefully about introducing another feline.
I learned this the hard way.
I have a seven year old male Persian cat, Plush and I always thought and still think that he feels lonely.
He is very very attached to us.
When he was three years old, we left him home alone only one day and almost everybody in our building complex complained that he had cried all night.
We started traveling with him but he did not like.
We stopped traveling because he did not want to be alone.
He does not want our friends to take care of him or he does not want any pet sitter.

It’s a kitten, so it is very likely to bond with another kitten.
I’ve gotten kittens a month or so apart and they have always done well together.
Don’t get a cat though get another kitten.
I got my current two together, from the same breeder, but not the same litter.
They are about a month apart and adore each other.
They also stay much more active, which is good for their health.
My two are a little over a year old and a little younger in this photo below.
They may look like they are fighting here, but they are just playing.

I lost my soul cat, Moo, in May.
I found out she was sick just 12 days before she died in my arms.. it absolutely broke me.
It still hasn’t gotten any easier. In her last days, my mom told me about a litter of kittens that were at some sort of last chance place and would be put down if they couldn’t get homes.
At first I was angry that she could even bring up getting another kitten with my baby girl fighting for her life.
But the day came that my baby girl passed away In my arms and my world shattered.
This was a day before the kittens were to be taken to the shelter.
It was like she knew that if she was alive I would’ve never considered it.
I ended up getting a kitten and another a few weeks later and they ended up being my salvation.

Why Do Some People Say That Stray Cats Choose Their Humans
I can’t imagine that many cat owners would dispute that.
For instance just over a year ago a cat walked in through my open front door, surveyed the house, chose a bed and went to sleep.
A year later he’s still here because he gets what he wants.
After a bit of asking around I discovered that he was a thirteen year old who had lived with people a bit further down the road since he was a kitten.
They had had a baby and he took exception to it so went off to find a new home.
So we cat share - he goes there for food now and then and spends the rest of the time with us.

Sometimes they don’t, but cats are good at finding warm dry places, and can get through quite small gaps, and they are usually very knowledgeable about their onw territory and the opportunities it offers.

I wish I had a cat
I've loved cats for as long as I can remember. Cats are the sweetest, kindest, most delicate sweethearts ever! Every single kitty is deserving of a happy and wonderful home. Even though some cats can be a bit demanding, some cat owners don't realize how lucky they are. I would do anything to have a cat. I love them so much! If I had one, I would hug it, and kiss it, and snuggle it and love it and never let it out of my sight! It sounds like such a dream!
Unfortunately, my parents don't allow me to have a cat. Or a pet. I had a fish when I was younger, but it died after the first day. So, no pet for me I guess. :(
But, that's okay! I still find ways to express my love for all cats everywhere! I squeal whenever a kitten commercial comes on TV.…

Making Biscuits
In the morning my cat, Echo, gets the zoomies and comes into my room. Then she starts pawing me on my stomach. I have no clue why she does this but its so cute! Me and my family call it "Making Biscuits." If you know why she does this please message me on my message wall it's so cute but weird!

I recently adopted this wiki, and one thing that came to my attention is that there are articles that were plagiarized from Wikipedia and possibly from other sources. Many of these articles were created at least a decade or so ago, and the administration at the time seem to have had no problem with that, and may have even plagiarized articles themselves.
