The Lykoi, also known as the werewolf cat, is a partially hairless breed of cat (with bald spots on its face, legs, muzzle.. etc) that has an appearance similar to the classic Hollywood werewolf. It is the result of a natural mutation of a domestic shorthaired cat。
Breed history and information[]
In Virginia, 2010, two families of domestic shorthairs with the Lykoi gene were adopted from a rescue after being discovered in Virginia in 2010, by Patti Thomas, who co-founded and named the breed.
Appearance[]
Lykoi vary from completely covered in hair to partially hairless. Their hair is silvery-black, and looks bristly, giving them a Werewolf-like appearance.
Personality[]
Lykois have likable personalities and enjoy human fondness, having a dog-like cat trait. Its also loyal towards humans[1]
